The IABC Pacific Plains Region announced today the 61 winners of the 2011 Silver Quill Award, six of which are from the San Diego Chapter.

The competition invites participation from communicators throughout the Pacific Plains Region, which encompasses 19 states from Wisconsin to Hawaii, and Arizona to North Dakota. This year’s entries were evaluated by an expert panel of experienced judges from IABC Houston, many of whom are Accredited Business Communicators (ABCs) or past IABC Quill award winners.

The Silver Quill judging process uses the same high standards and guidelines as those of the IABC Gold Quill Awards, which is IABC’s international recognition program for communicators.

“The work of our distinguished award recipients passed the test of these strict guidelines and the scrutiny of their esteemed colleagues,” said Ann Krzmarzick, ABC, IABC Silver Quill Awards chair. “The Silver Quill recipients truly deserve accolades for being communications rock stars.”
