Whether you’re searching for a new opportunity or vying for a promotion at work, one way you can set yourself apart from the competition is by gaining experience serving on a board. You’ve probably thought about it or perhaps you’re already volunteering at a non-profit organization, but have you considered IABC?
As a member, it’s easy for you to get started right away by joining the San Diego chapter’s executive board. You will have multiple avenues to enhance your leadership skills by directing programs and events, connecting with speakers, interacting with members and delighting in the satisfaction of building an incredible organization.
IABC/San Diego will launch its 2021/2022 board year on July 1. We are in the process of building our new board slate and looking to fill a variety of positions, based on your expertise and interest. From communications and membership to events and administration we have all kinds of roles to match your skill set.
Take it from me, a long-time IABC member, I’ve served on the board of multiple chapters including Hong Kong, Washington D.C., New Jersey and now San Diego. The leadership, management and networking opportunities are invaluable and advancing our profession is the ultimate reward.

Now is the time for you to get on board.
