Outside of work, you can find Christine running on the beach.

When I’m not working, you could find me…
Running on the beach.

My Life in Communications
The biggest communications challenge I have faced…
Working in a different culture, flying to/from weekly, helping officers implement massive organizational changes — relocating most employees to another city while maintaining engagement and productivity, changing the employee value proposition (including new incentive compensation and retirement plans), improving leadership credibility and aligning managers to support communications and change management.
My favorite communications memory is…
An employee writing to the CEO of a company thanking him for caring enough about employees to finally provide communications that were as good as communications their customers received.
A Vice President sharing that if the project didn’t go well the worst that would happen is he would lose his job — then celebrating when the BOD complimented him on the project’s success.
The most important communications or professional lesson I’ve learned is…
Listen. Listen. Listen.
Ask the right questions.
Trust your instincts.
Resources that I really find useful and recommend to other communicators are…
Colleagues. Employee focus groups.
The most valuable thing about my membership with IABC is…
Opportunity to meet other professionals and exchange ideas.
You should know this about me…
I love a good laugh.
