My Life in Communications

The biggest communications challenge I have faced…
Trying to market myself. I’m great at helping other people, but not so great at talking about myself.

The most important communications or professional lesson I’ve learned is…
When it comes to social media and digital marketing, “content is king!”

Resources that I really find useful and recommend to other communicators are…
Staying active on social media sites. There’s a wealth of knowledge and information to tap into if you’re able to stay on top of it. Go to as many seminars and presentations as you can and make contacts with everyone you meet.

The most valuable thing about my membership with IABC is…
I’ll hopefully find out soon!

You should know this about me…
I’m a constant learner. I would stay in school forever if I had the chance. I’m constantly learning new things and take every opportunity I can to absorb anything educational – personal or business.
