President’s Letter – August 2015

07 Aug 2015, by Kylie Munoz in Be Heard Blog, IABC/SD News

As I move into the Presidency role of IABC San Diego, I can’t help but reflect upon my many positive experiences over the past seven plus years that I have been an IABC member. I have grown and developed my skill set as a business communicator, won a prestigious Gold Quill award, forged invaluable relationships and advanced my career in communications. Most importantly, I am so thankful for the connection to a global network of communicators that has helped pave the way for success in my own career and many others.Sarab B Prez Photo

It is truly the people who make IABC an exceptional network and resource for communicators in all fields across multiple industries. I am excited to introduce you to the 2015/2016 IABC/San Diego Board of Directors. This year’s board is comprised of a remarkable group of communicators in San Diego committed to IABC/San Diego’s focus on being a vibrant resource for career growth, professional development, networking and mentorship – and we also like to have a bit of fun now and again! There are still a few remaining board positions open – if you are interested in joining our award-winning team, please email me directly at sbilyeuiabc@gmail.com.

Our annual Board Retreat is less than a week away where the new board will strategize the upcoming year and determine how we can provide the most value to our members. Because IABC is an organization run by its members for its members, we’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can better serve your needs and those of all communication professionals in San Diego – please email me your suggestions.
