Meet our panel:

Paul Sanchez

Paul Sanchez, ABC, APR, IABC Fellow, and Principal, Buck Consultants
Paul has more than 25 years of experience in a human resources management and consulting. He currently serves as the consultant in charge of Buck’s Southern California and Arizona offices. Prior to joining Buck, Paul founded and led a firm focused on employee research, and before that was a Mercer Worldwide Partner and director of the Organization Research, part of Mercer’s Human Capital business. Prior to this assignment, he was Mercer’s European practice leader for Communication and Organization Research and Effectiveness, based in London, England, serving clients throughout Europe and the Middle East. Paul is accredited by both IABC and PRSA. He is the past-chair of IABC’s Research Foundation and also served on its International Board. Paul is a member of the Advisory Council, College of Communications, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. He is the author of Transformation Communication, published by IABC, and is a frequent conference speaker and contributor to publications dealing with human resource issues, employee research and organization communication. In 2011, Paul was named an IABC Fellow, the highest honor the association can bestow on a member. It acknowledges outstanding leadership, professional accomplishment and service to IABC and the profession.

Christine Infante

Christine Infante, Director & Senior Consultant, Towers Watson
With more than 25 years’ experience as a communications and change management professional, Christine has helped global clients successfully implement complex business changes.  She has led internal communications for corporate and consulting firms. She has developed and implemented communications and change strategies for mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, restructurings, rightsizing and management buyouts as well as broad internal employee communications for engagement and leadership development, and programmatic changes. Christine has worked with organizations in the financial services, biotechnology, high tech, health care, utility, manufacturing and other industries.  In her current role with Towers Watson she serves as the M&A communications and change lead for the west working with a diverse client base of marquis clients.

Marilyn Olson

Marilyn Olson, Senior Vice President, PPR North America
With nearly 20 years of experience in both corporate and agency environments, Marilyn is a seasoned communications counselor who drives high-impact, integrated communications programs that support business objectives.  Marilyn leads the team that supports Dell’s communications to their 100,000 team members worldwide. Marilyn’s experience spans corporate, crisis and employee communications, public affairs and social media, and she is an event and project management expert.  She has worked with financial services, technology, telecommunications and consumer products industries, and has a broad portfolio of non-profit and philanthropic experience.

Shari Winet Rodriguez

Shari Winet Rodriguez, Vice President, Public Relations, Bridgepoint Education
Shari Winet Rodriguez has 25 years’ experience in the communication field. Shari joined Bridgepoint in May 2008 when it had the distinction of being the fastest growing private education company in the nation. Shari built the Public Relations department from the ground up to a talented group of communication professionals in multiple states, as well as PR agencies on both coasts. Shari’s primary responsibility is to manage all PR in-house and agency staff, and to oversee the company’s corporate communications, media relations, and academic communications departments. Shari’s career began in broadcasting. She served as an award-winning television journalist, writer, reporter, and anchor for three ABC affiliates. Prior to joining Bridgepoint Education, Shari served in various communication roles at Battenfield & Associates, Mazzarella Caldarelli LLP; Lemon Drop Productions; the San Diego State University Research Foundation and the San Diego Opera. She has earned numerous accolades including three PRSA Mark of Excellence awards, and an IABC Gold Quill award. In 2010, Shari was named one of San Diego’s Women Who Mean Business.
