Jayanti Menches

An experienced, global communications leader, Jayanti built her career working in the U.S. and internationally across various business sectors.

Based in San Diego, she is a senior consultant with Employera, an employer branding and communications consultancy. Previously, Jayanti worked in New York City as head of communications for WSP USA a global engineering and professional services firm. Jayanti also served as the director of marketing at Triple Canopy, a global security and risk management company, headquartered in the Washington DC metro area. Additionally, Jayanti worked inHong Kong as a communications consultant and freelance reporter. She also managed marketing communications for global firms in the telecom and defense sectors in Northern Virginia. 

A certified Strategic CommunicationsManagement Professional (SCMP), Jayanti earned a master's degree from San DiegoState University and a bachelor's from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

Jayanti enjoys volunteering and giving back to community. In addition to IABC/San Diego she previously served on IABC boards in New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Hong Kong. Jayanti is currently on the board of directors for Senior Gleaners of SanDiego County and the San Diego Police Foundation. She also volunteers as a mentor for StartBlue, an ocean-focused accelerator run by Scripps Institution ofOceanography and Rady School of Management at UCSD.
