Why I Decided to Dine Around with IABC

09 Jan 2013, by IABC Webmaster in Be Heard Blog, IABC/SD News

I’ve been in the communication field for more than seven years. I spent the majority of that time not being a member of IABC. When I bit the bullet and joined a year ago (as a board member no less), I finally realized what I have been missing all along. Through the organization, I expanded my professional network to include some of the finest communicators in San Diego County. Further, I developed personal friendships with some really great people.

The Dine Arounds are a perfect representation of the overall benefits of being a part of IABC. You have the opportunity to meet new communication professionals and have some fun – and great food – while you’re at it, whether you are a member or not. That’s a win-win in my book. I hope to see you at Pacific 333 on Tuesday! And if North County is a little far for you, please join one of our other Dine Arounds at The Prado in Balboa Park or Seasons 52 in UTC – Cheers!
