If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with the organization, now is the time! We are actively recruiting for our 2018-19 board term, which starts July 1. Meet Christina Hastings
Christina is an Associate Director of Employee Communication at Bridgepoint Education. When she’s not working on strategies for multi-layered communication plans, you’ll find her hanging out with friends and family or trying out the latest restaurant. She finds the IABC community the most valuable thing about her membership – “We are able to share best practices and pick-up a new resource or two!” Read more about Christina.
June 20: How to Get Leaders to Listen to You
Join us June 20 for a session with internationally recognized measurement expert Angela Sinickas, ABC, on how to make yourself more credible when advising your management team. If your professional experience and your title seem to have less impact on getting leaders to listen to good communication advice than you would like, this is the event for you. Angela will help you understand how to speak a leader’s language to get their attention, how to use more effective techniques for presenting your solutions, and how to be ready to address a leader’s objections.
