Congrats to IABC/San Diego for winning three chapter awards!
The annual IABC CMA competition measures the leadership and management skills, creativity and teamwork of IABC chapter leaders worldwide.
Awards are presented in three divisions–small, medium, and large chapters; within those divisions are eight categories: branding, membership, marketing, professional development, financial management, leadership development, communications, community involvement and student involvement.
This year, the San Diego chapter was recognized with the following mid-size chapter awards:
– Award of Excellence – Membership
– Award of Merit – Leadership Development
– Award of Merit – Professional Development
The CMA awards were announced at IABC’s Leadership Institute conference held February 10-12 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Leadership Institute is an opportunity for IABC chapter, regional and international leaders to come together to share best practices and learn how to create programs and services that keep members active and involved. It meets annually in a different location each year.
San Diego won mid-size Chapter of the Year in 2009 and was recognized with four CMA’s in 2009 and 2010.
